Car Accident

About two weeks ago Stuart was on his way home from work and like usual he called me to tell me he was on his way. We were talking and I heard squealing and then a big crash. I said, "Stuart... you there?!" no response.... At first I just thought okay maybe he just saw an accident and he's in shock and not responding. So again, "Stuart?! You there?!" No response. My heart dropped. I started to shake. His phone had stayed open and I just sat there listening, waiting for someone to pick up the phone and tell me what was going on. FOUR min. later (which seemed like an eternity) Stuart picked up the phone and said that he was okay. Someone had ran a red light and hit him. He was speeding and not paying attention and hit him. From these pictures you can't tell that he was going over 50mph when he slammed on his breaks and slid into Stuart. I know there were angels surrounding his car because it should have been way worse than that! Stuart is not sure why his door does not have more damage. He couldn't even open his door because the car that hit him was against the door. Crazy! So far they have found $5000 of damage on Stuart's car. We just found out that his car is a "total loss" and now we have to find another car. So we are looking. Anyone selling or know someone who is selling a reliable car? Please let us know. This has been such a headache! We have a rental that smells like old woman's perfume! The worst part of it all is that Stuart is in quite a bit of pain. His back and neck and ankle and jaw are killing him. He has physical therapy on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. So he doesn't get home until 6pm when he leaves at 5:30 in the morning. It makes for really long days. Especially when he has mutual at 7 on Wednesdays. I joke with Stuart that I am going to need physical therapy after he is all better because I am having to do all the heavy lifting and do almost everything for the kids. Overall, though I have not missed a day to thank my Heavenly Father for protecting my husband. I am so grateful for Stuart. He makes me so happy. So today tell your loved ones how special they are to you. You never know when it might be the last time to tell them you love them.

Side airbag... only $1300 to fix! (crazy!!)
