Just a quick update of pictures of what we've been up to the last few months
Jaxon just recently started to love glasses. My niece came over and Jaxon just had to wear her glasses... he thought he was so funny! For those of you who have known Stuart for a long time you can totally see how this picture is him as a little boy. Just so cute! It was raining one afternoon so we made some homemade bubbles and went on the porch and played we had a blast! Of course Jaxon ended up naked because he was shivering from being so wet. I love those blue eyes! Cute little bum! Not to mention the killer tan line!
We had a Bawden family reunion at my uncle Clyde's cabin. Tons of fun! I didn't take enough pictures but here are a few of them. Jaxon didn't want to hold the bunny he wanted to get in the cage! Gotta love it! This is the huge bunny! Crazy long ears! This was during another nap of mine... when I woke up Daddy and Jaxon had built a fort and had flashlights under to see. What a fun dad! Forts are so fun!
This is Alissa - Stuart's sister Lachelle's baby... can you believe her hair? So stinkin' cute! I have got the best husband in the world. On the weekends he gets up with Jaxon so I can sleep in. Well this morning I walked out of my room and this is what I found. I love my boys! So cute when they are sleeping! One night we got this basket full of goodies. I was shocked to see it there and so excited too. We opened the card and the bear wrote us a little note about how he needs a good home and how he hopes we will take care of him. We were having a difficult time with some family sickness and this is exactly what I needed for a little lift. I will never forget how this basket of goodies made me feel. To the anonymous giver... THANK YOU! You'll never know what that meant to us.
I've been teaching Jaxon about the importance of keeping your privates hidden and to stay covered up in public. One day I walk into my gym kid place and Jaxon comes out with no pants on but covering himself with his shorts and hands in the front yelling, "Mom, my pirates are showing!" We now always call them pirates for good laughs. June 2010
Jaxon: "I love my kids Mom." Me: "Oh you do? Who are your kids?" Jaxon: "You know. Ginny, me, you." Me: "What about Daddy?" Jaxon: "No! He's not a kid mom."
We were eating ham for dinner and Jaxon kept saying, "Mom I want some Dean." I said, "Dean? Do you mean ham?" "Yes, ham" Jaxon said.
Jaxon: "I hungry mom. I gonna die. I want some Cheerios." Mom: "No cheerios right now." Jaxon: "BUT MOM! I'm dieing!" (February 2010)
I was changing Jaxon's diaper and Ginny kept crawling over trying to touch Jaxon so I grabbed her and put her behind me and she started to cry quite loudly. Then Jaxon says to me, "Mom, don't be mean to Ginny... she's my friend. You sit in time out if you do that again." (February 2010)
Dad was leaving and Jaxon shouts with his fingers in the peace sign, "Peace Out!" (February 2010)
(Jaxon lets out a big toot) Jaxon (yelling): "Stinky tooter! Stinky tooter!" (February 2010)
Me: "I love you Jaxon." Jaxon: "No mom! I love you!" Me: "No, I love you!" Jaxon: (now getting angry) "NO MOM! I LOVE YOU!" Me: "Okay buddy. You love me." Jaxon: "I win!" (February 2010)
Jaxon: "Ginny is my best friend mom. I laba (love) her." (December 2009)
(both Ginny and Jaxon are in the bath) Mom: "Jaxon I'm going to get Ginny out and dressed now. I'll be back for you in just a second." Jaxon: "NO MOM!! Ginny's my friend! She wants to play with me." (November 2009)
Jaxon: "Mom, my turn." (referring to bearing his testimony) Me: "Okay as long as you can do it yourself." (Thinking he wont do it) Jaxon: "Okay, I be back." (as he turns to walk up to the podium, luckily I was saved by the bishop standing and ending the meeting) (September 2009)
Me: "Jaxon what's your name?" Jaxon: "Um... two!" (July 2009)
